Overview
The growth in high-frequency applications driven by A&D, radar, and 5G/6G industries continues challenging the RF filter design community. The demand for RF filter designs continues to escalate as more stringent design specifications are coupled with the need to improve R&D cycle times, sustain RF performance, and maintain manufacturing quality.
Participating engineers will gain a good understanding of the nuances of RF filter design optimization and simulation. This session will review several specific design application cases (cavity, SIW, and microstrip planar design).
What attendees will learn
During this hands-on workshop, participants will actively:
- Filter synthesis and feasibility analysis: Discover how to synthesize several different types of filters and explore methods to evaluate design feasibility quickly
- Design 3D geometries and perform parametric analysis: Experience in building and exporting a design to HFSS
- Computer-aided Tuning and Al optimization: Learn how to utilize advanced optimization methods to improve initial performance and how Al optimization automates workflows
- Performance evaluation: Learn how to interpret the simulation result
Who should attend
RF engineers, antenna designers, and professionals working on cavity, SIW, or microstrip filters
